Dr Jasper van Zyl is a specialist psychiatrist who practices in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. He obtained his MBChB degree from Stellenbosch University in 2012. In 2021, he qualified as a specialist psychiatrist at the University of Cape, obtaining both his MMed and FCPsych degrees. He now consults from his rooms at Welgemoed Medical Centre and provides inpatient care at Vredekloof Clinic.
Dr Van Zyl has a wide range of interests in general psychiatry including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar mood disorder, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
